What signals do you send your spouse?
What's the real message behind your
words?
Does your communication affirm them?
Good communication is key to any successful marriage.
Keep in mind that communication only happens when
we
understand what the other person is saying.
Exchanging words isn't communication.
Everything you know about your mate you’ve learned because
your mate has communicated that information to you; sometimes
they used words sometimes they didn't.
Your mate shared information through their words, or
non-verbally through facial expressions, body language,
tone of voice, or behavior; sometimes a simple glance
said it all.
When you commit to positive, warm and gentle words,
you send
the message that your mate is loved and cherished.
Let your spouse know that what you're really trying to say is
that you care, and are grateful they are in your
life.
Until next time, this is Mike & Gayle Tucker and we
want you to be mad about marriage!
