What do you think - does absence makes the heart
grow fonder?

That's what we've been told all our lives. But it's
time to bust this common myth.

Here's the truth: Absence makes the heart grow
fonder only for a little while...then it makes the
heart wander.

Bottom line? Couples need to be together.

(Gayle & I have been stressing this point for
a few weeks in the weekly tips because it's
so important.)

Unfortunately, extra-marital affairs have become
a common marriage problem.

Some statistics suggest that as many as 50% of all
marriages will be affected by marital unfaithfulness.

Inadequate time together can trigger an extra-marital
affair because the temptation increases to look to
someone else to meet emotional and physical needs.
 
It's important to remember that affairs aren't the
cause, they are the result of a deeper problem.

Hearts that drift apart have a higher risk for
wandering - for seeking satisfaction either
physically or emotionally in the arms of
someone else.
 
But here's the good news: You have the
power to turn things around today if you
find yourself in this situation!

Now, what if your relationship has already
suffered the painful impact of an extra-marital
affair - can the relationship be healed and the
marriage saved?

Yes! Absolutely there is hope!!
