How Grateful Are You For Your Marriage?

Published: Fri, 11/29/13

Hi there! It's Mike & Gayle Tucker wishing you a very
warm and pleasant Thanksgiving holiday.

How thankful are you for your marriage? What would
need to happen in your relationship for you to be
even more thankful for your marriage?

During this holiday weekend, take five or six minutes and
answer these questions:

1) Is your marriage in your top three priorities?

2) Are you TOTALLY committed to your marriage?

A
happy & fulfilling marriage that will stand the test
of time requires commitment.

What level of commitment to your marriage do your words,
thoughts, and
actions suggest?

(What would your spouse say?)

3) What are your thoughts and attitudes towards your marriage?

Do you continually look for ways to grow as a person so you can
be a better spouse and have an outstanding marriage? Or do
you find yourself wondering what it would be like to be with someone
else and
are looking for the escape hatch!

A healthy marriage doesn't happen by accident. And the place
to start improving things is with yourself. Our marriage changes
when we change.

This Thanksgiving weekend, focus on the good qualities of your
marriage. Think about how committed you are to having a
healthy
& happy relationship with your spouse - a marriage that endures.

Most anyone can stay married "contractually" but it takes
real commitment to stay married happily.

Just a thought.

Until next week, this is Mike & Gayle Tucker and we want
YOU to be Mad About Marriage!
