20 Tips For A Beautiful Life

Published: Fri, 08/16/13

How satisfied are you with your life... and marriage?

Is your life filled with joy and hope?

Are you happy?

Do you have a beautiful life?

Two things: First, I realize bad things happen that
leave scars - so I'm not glossing over life's hurts.

Second, the idea of life as "beautiful" is a different
description than we usually hear. Usually we here
descriptions like, "abundant", "good", and "fulfilling."
And I hope those are all true for you and me.

But our lives and marriages can be beautiful, too,
from the inside out.

Someone shared an email three weeks ago that I've been
considering sharing with you because it is so, well, beautiful!

It's called:  25 Awesome Tips For A Beautiful Life!
I've edited it from 25 tips to 20. Enjoy:

1. Walk 10-30 minutes daily & while you walk, SMILE because

it is the ultimate antidepressant.

2.
Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day and be still.

3. When you awaken each morning, seek God's wisdom and

guidance for your purpose.

4. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants, and eat less
food that is manufactured in plants.

5. Drink plenty of water. Eat blueberries, apples, broccoli, and
almonds.

6. Make three people smile each day (and make one of them
your spouse).

7. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, things that don't
matter, issues of the past, negative thoughts or on things you
cannot control

8.  Life isn't fair, but God can still make good come from it.

9.  Life is too short to hold grudges and hate people. Forgive.

10. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does!

11. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

12. Make peace with your past so it doesn't ruin your present.

13. Don't compare your life or marriage to others for they have

their own challenges and struggles that you don't know about.

14.  No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

15. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: "In five years,
will this matter?"

16. Help those in need. Be generous. Be a Giver not a Taker.

17. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your family
and friends will. Stay in touch and cherish them.

18. Envy is a waste of time. Love is life's greatest wealth.

19.  Each night before falling asleep thank God for His blessings

20. Remember that you have hope and are too blessed to be stressed.

I think if we all started practicing just two or three of these tips,
wouldn't you agree that our lives and marriages couldn't help but
be more beautiful?

You deserve a beautiful life with beautiful relationships. And by
