Are You A Nag?

Published: Fri, 05/24/13

"All you ever do is nag, nag, nag..." - Ever had those thoughts?

Do you ever feel like a nag?

Contrary to popular belief, nagging doesn't work! Sure
you might get your spouse or kids to take action, but
the harm it causes isn't worth it.

One of the most common complaints we hear from husbands and
wives is that they are tired of all the nagging.

The interesting thing is that you or your spouse could be nagging
the other and not even be aware that you're nagging!

Well, I asked Gayle to write a special blog post on the topic of
nagging this week - not because we struggle with nagging but
because it's a felt need in so many marriages.

In her post, Gayle shares four steps to tame nagging once and
for all:

Step 1: Ask yourself how important this issue is
Step 2: If you want something, learn to ask clearly and kindly
Step 3: Assume the best about your spouse's response
Step 4; Learn to use "I" statements

I know you'd really enjoy reading the entire post, so here's

4 Steps To Stop All Of the Nagging

Even I learned a few things from Gayle's post - and
no I'm not admitting I was her source of creative inspiration!

Even if you have a nag-free marriage, you might find
some great tips in the article that could help your
friends.

That's it for this week. Until next week, this is Mike &
Gayle Tucker and we want you to be madly in love.
