Hello ,
15 hours.That's what it takes.
That's how much time healthy
couples need together each week to
maintain a healthy marriage.
No kids.
No friends.
No family.
15 hours - just to maintain your
relationship if your marriage is
already healthy.
But what if it isn't?
What if you've been growing apart?
What if your marriage is struggling?
How much time do you need then?
Couples whose marriages are in trouble
need 20 hours a week or more together.
Remember, this is time alone together.
It's so hard now more than ever to find the
time we need to live and enjoy life because
we're so busy trying to survive. Right?
15-20 hours? Come on! How is that even
possible?
It's a fact of life that every time we say
"yes" to something we're saying "no"
to something else.
Consider your marriage. What are some
of the things you've been saying "yes" to
that have resulted in you saying "no" to
your relationship?
Maybe you can't free up 15 or 20 hours
all at once this week, but you can start.
Say "no" to one or two things this week
so you can start saying "yes" to what
matters most.
Until next week, this is Mike & Gayle
Tucker, and we're mad about marriage!
P.S. Do you have friends whose marriages
appear time-starved? Then forward this tip
to them - it could save their relationship.
P.P.S. Stop Divorce And Save Marriage is
today's blog post. It includes some steps
you can take together during your 15-20
hours to get your marriage back on the
right track.
