Hi ,
Want a healthier, happier marriage? Then take
this relationship tip to heart:
Don't Fight Fair.
What? Am I crazy? Maybe, but not about this.
If you fight fair you lose.
Period.
End of story.
If you want to weaken your marriage and
damage your relationship, then fight fair.
Fighting fair is when you treat your spouse how
he or she treats you.
If they give you the cold shoulder, then you give
them the cold shoulder.
If they clam up, then you clam up.
If they dredge up the past, then you dredge
up the past.
If they hurt you then you hurt them.
Here's an idea...
...if your spouse hurts you, then instead of
hurting them back, forgive them.
...if your spouse raises their voice at you,
then answer softly in return.
...if your spouse is unkind or mean, then
be kind and caring in return.
By not playing fair, you change the dynamic
of the relationship and pave the way for
positive change.
Conflict resolution skills are essential in
every marriage.
How do you settle disagreements?
Do you injure each other in the process?
Or do you take the high road and build
a pathways of grace within your marriage?
In the coming days, take some time to
reflect on your marriage.

If you've been hurt by your spouse,
then take action to warm their heart
and spirit with a grace-oriented words,
thoughts and deeds.
What if you don't get the desired result?
Do it again.
And again...and again...and again - as
many times as it takes.
