How well do you think you know your spouse? (How well does your spouse know you?)
In the beginning of a relationship, a couple asks a million questions as they get to know each other.
But no matter how well you think your know your spouse, people change. They form new beliefs and values; your spouse isn’t the same person you married (neither are you).
Perhaps it’s time to get to know your spouse again.
Get
To Know Your Spouse Better
Getting to know your spouse can be so much fun. Here are some examples of questions to get you started.
1. Think of something they love and ask, "Why do you love ______ so much?"
2. What is one major goal you hope to achieve in your lifetime?
3. If you could go back in time, would you change anything about your life? If so, why?
4. If you didn’t have to work, how would you spend your days and with whom?
5. What made you fall in love with me?
6. What is the hardest thing you want to accomplish in life?
7. Who do you consider to be your best friend, besides me, and why?
8. What’s the one place you've always wanted to visit?
9. Which home cooked meal is your favorite?
10. What stresses you out?
It might be best to consider asking these questions when the two of you are relaxing or are on a
date night; make it fun, easy and relaxed. You don’t have to ask all of the questions at the same time either.
(This might be a fun thing to do on Mother's Day...just a thought.)
Ask these questions at the
right time and watch yourself start falling in love with your partner all over again.
